Japanese Urban Legend: The white string

Translated from Japanese by Shishou(師匠)

Urban Legend

There was a woman who wanted to wear earrings, so she pierced her ears on her own.

But her ears became itchy because of that. When she looked into the mirror, she found that a white string like thing was sticking out of that piercing hole. She started pulling the string out, but after a while her vision went dark.

By the way, that white string was her optic nerve, that's why she lost her eyesight.

    1. I don't think it's is real as the optic nerve is not anywhere near the ear.
