Japanese Cryptic: Stalker's letters

Translated from Japanese by Shishou(師匠)

Cryptic Story

Since last week, I feel as if someone is stalking me.

When I return home from work, I always find a letter in my letter-box.

It's more like a scrap of paper rather than a letter as it has only one line written on it.

First day, " I welcome you home! " was written on it.

Second day, " I want to talk to you." was on it.

On the third day, it had " Not free?" and on fourth day it had, "Contact me please."

Fifth day it read, " Let's meet each other. " The messages got creepier day-by-day.

Sixth day it was, "Of course, you can't escape from me."

Seventh day it had, "See you tomorrow."

I got very frightened by it and contacted cops quickly.

But on the eighth day, another letter came. It read, "Excuse me for my idiocy. This is the last letter."

That was a very creepy experience. But now, I can be at ease .

    1. The gender is not a critical factor here.

      But I LOL'd about the stalker's identity.

    2. No, the identity of the stalker doesn't matter here.

  • Plot twist!!!
Author has a split personality or multiple personalities disorder.
The one writing the letter was his/her other personality, who wanted the author to notice it.
Day after day, the split personality got no respond.
If it sad negatively, it decided to take over the original personality, meaning the original personality would be gone and vanish. Thus, that's the last letter.
If it sad positively, the split personality decided to vanish from the author's life.
