Japanese Horror: Stalker

Translated from Japanese by Shishou(師匠)

Creepy Person

They was an alone-living woman who had been having a stalker problem. She used to find her garbage scattered. The neighbors used to see a man always standing in front of her house.  But the thing that worried her most was the silent telephone call  that she had to deal with everyday.

One day, when she was at the limit of her patience, she picked up the silent telephone call and said angrily, "Cut it out! You sick person! I'll call the police!"
After a little while, somebody replied, "I'll kill you.", in a low voice. She got scared and hanged the phone hurriedly. Filled with fear, she called the police immediately. The detective heard her story and told her that he'll trace the phone call. He also told her that he'll come to her immediately if something happens. After that the detective went home.

That night, the silent phone call happened, as expected. However, this time the phone call wasn't silent, instead there was a man's voice on the other end and he was laughing eerily.
The woman was frightened and wanted to hang up the phone, but endured it just to have the phone traced by the police. The man's laughing continued without cease. After a while, her mobile phone ringed. It was from the detective from afternoon. He said," Do you understand it? Get out of that house right now!" The detective was saying that in a serious voice.
But what about the creepy man who was waiting outside? Thinking that , she couldn't go outside.

Realizing the situation, the detective said this: "The results of the call trace have arrived. The criminal is calling you from inside of your house. The criminal is inside your house!"
The scared woman hung up the phone from the stalker, and ran outside immediately. And then, the creepy laugh continued echoing inside the room even when the phone was hung up.
